I just want to say how much I love the tires I bought for my Tib over the summer.
I bought Falken ZE512 195/55/15. I had contemplated just buying some tires just to replace my rears, cause they were shot. But I got to thinking how weird that would be to just keep replacing one set of tires at a time never having a matching set. So I sprung for a set of four new ones. Well when I bought my car I still didn't really know how to drive it to its full potentional. Got to develope a feel for it and all.
Well I've had my car for a few months now, and have developed a good feel of it now. And man do I love taking out on the back roads around the area. The roads are full of all sorts of hills and twist and turns. I never really gave thought to how much of that could be attributed to the tires that I had purchased.
One day I was reading a post on my other RD (rdtiburon.com if any one is interested) site and this member posted about how much his handling increased when he put a set of strut bars on his car. Well another member responded with how he got the same response from his car when he put on new tires on his Tib. Bing, that’s when it hit me. My Tires Are Sticky. 90 degre turns at 45 mph in second gear kind-o-sticky. Then I went for a ride during a rainy day around the same roads, which means the same turns and stuff. I could have put my car anywhere on that road, goin as fast as I wanted to and it wouldn't have matter how wet the road was. My tires would not let me go anywhere. I don't get to drive my Tib that much cause I have to park it on the other side of campus, I got screwed for parking this year, so when I do get a chance I take her out and let her run. My girl friend loves it too. The look she gets when I punch it, or dive into a corner. If you have that special women in your life you know that look I'm talking 'bout.
So if you guys ever get to where your looking to replace your tires, but don't want to upgrade to a larger size wheel I highly recommend these tires. Once again incase you forgot Falken ZE512 195/55/15.
Peace out guys,
Pat
