You was in luck that it wasn't a buck. I say I have hit about a total of three deer in various cars I have had over the years, but about 2 1/2 years ago when I had my tib I was going around a curve and a coon popped out and I had no where to go. I hit the coon and it was a big one, busted the driver's side fog light
About 3 years ago while i was driving my Neon I was going around a curve and a couple of deer was in the road and while i was passing the deer it decides to run toward the car like it wants to commit suicide, headbutts the door handle right beside me while my window was down. It was literally one foot from me when it headbutts the car.
This is what i get for living up in the mountains where the population ratio of human to deer is 1:100
